Green Dot Training

The Green Dot strategy is a best practice, comprehensive approach to violence prevention. It targets all campus community members as potential allies and bystanders.

Green Dot teaches students, faculty and staff to be aware of potential violence around them and provides skills, strategies and tactics to use the power of peer influence to intervene appropriately and safely in high-risk situations.

Information about the types of trainings available can be found below. If a department, division, committee or student organization is interested in scheduling a training, please email greendot@uni.edu with your request.

The Green Dot team is currently putting together the Spring 2024 session schedule and will be posted here when complete. Check back for details or email greendot@uni.edu to learn more!
