Joe Parker
Student Assistant
Joe is one of OCEM’s student employees whose role involves greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, data entry, filing, and other tasks that assist with the daily functions of OCEM.
Joe is a first-year student majoring in Business, with a focus of Organizational Leadership and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Joe loves the sense of community Cedar Falls offers and being a part of a university where meaningful connections and positive people are all around. Joe’s career and life goals are to continue to make a difference and have a positive impact on those around him. Joe was immediately interested in OCEM once he learned about the impact OCEM has on the entire university. In many ways, OCEM perfectly aligns with what Joe wants for everyone, which is a place that is created to support others. Being part of a team of people that want to help others and make campus life better has been both inspiring and eye opening. In Joe’s free time he plays the bass guitar, listening to music, and playing a lot of pool.
